But I'm pretty sure I still have the installation software from my previous computer's OS. I haven't tried this myself, and nor do I actually know how to do it. I read somewhere though that a person could install an older OS onto an external hard drive and run a game from there.
The game ran absolutely wonderfully on that! Faster than it ever had before. All I know is my old computer was an OS 9.2.
